You can use quote templates to ensure consistency of quotes, reduce omission errors and reduce the time spent creating quotes. And if someone is off sick or not in the office for some reason, all the documentation is there available to you to action the quote rather than frantically searching the server to see where Jo saved the latest Word™ version of the document.

Unlimited options on a quote You can create quotes with unlimited options which make it clear to your customer what the different options are. [top]
Create a quote from a previous quote You can create a new quote or you can create a quote from a previous quote thus saving valuable time and effort. [top]
Set up quote templates from new or from previous quotes The Quotes module enables you to create quote templates. These are a great time-saving device if you are often creating the same or similar quotes. This ensures accuracy and consistency of quoting and that no vital elements are forgotten thus reducing errors and a greater chance of the quote being accepted. [top]
Complete quote revision history for amendments If a prospect requires an amendment to a quote you can just amend the quote or you can create a revision. This is useful if you need to see the complete quoting history in the event of a dispute or query on the quote. [top]
Easily accept, reject or amend any part of a quote Prospects do not always want all elements of a quote and it is quick and easy to amend a quote and accept only some elements of the quote. [top]
Define your own section headings You can create your own section headings so as to be able to organise your quotes according to your own business requirements and to make it clear to the prospect what each element relates to. [top]
On acceptance auto-generate Sales Orders and Purchase orders as required Once your customer has accepted the quote the system will automatically generate any sales orders (and if not in stock, the corresponding purchase orders). [top]
Auto-generate SLAs and projects on quote acceptance Depending on the type of line you have created the system will also automatically generate for example for SLAs which can be set to be invoiced on a recurring basis. It will also generate projects (assuming you have the module) for example if you have time-based work (either T&M or fixed price) as part of the contract (see the Project module for further information). Manage contracts by viewing actioned and non-actioned lines Once a quote has been accepted it becomes a contract. Manages can view contracts from a central point to see what elements have been actioned and which not and act accordingly. [top]
View related sales and purchase orders for contracts If Sales and purchase orders are generated on actioning the contract these can be tracked from the contract maintenance screen. [top]
Quote reminder The system can be configured to automatically remind you to review any quotes you have created so you need no longer worry about missing any deadlines or key dates. [top]
