Sales and purchase order processing

Automatically generate POs from SOs (optional)
Users can choose to automate the generation of Purchase orders when processing a sale. The system will automatically generate the necessary purchase orders based on default values, such as supplier, already set up on the system. The user still has full control to change any of the automatically generated information.
[top]
Serial and non-serial number processing
Most stock systems only allow you to stock items as a number e.g. 5000 screws or as individual items. On Forturo you can combine both
[top]
Condition processing
If you are a customer who uses serial number stock then the chances are you will also have stock in different conditions (e.g. New, Refurbished, Second user). Forturo allows you to define an unlimited number of these and to price the goods accordingly.
[top]
Alternate product codes
Products are often changing their code or at least different customers may know a product by different codes. By the se of alternate codes you can ensure you can quickly and easily find the product you are looking for.
[top]
Bar code processing
Forturo is fully bar-code enabled for the booking-in, dispatching and processing of stock with barcoded product labels. Forturo is capable with most standard wireless and fixed wire barcode readers.
[top]
Attach documents to products
You can attach documents to a product in any format (Word™, Adobe PDF™, etc.) such as specifications, product descriptions, sample warranties and so on.
[top]
Buy and sell in multiple currencies
You can configure customers and suppliers to be in any currency and set up exchange rates on the system which automatically convert to and from the base currency when creating POs and SOs and when booking in stock.
[top]
Kit processing/Bill of Materials
You can configure products to have multiple sub-products. Each product can have unlimited sub-products and you can configure the number of each sub-product and if it is mandatory or not. You can buy and sell ‘Composite’ products as you wold any other. If any mandatory components are not in stock the system will automatically generate the necessary Purchase order for the missing parts. Components are purchased and booked in separately. The stock enquiry will show the total number of each product that the current stock levels for composite products within the system would allow to be assembled. A detailed printout is available to show all the sub-components for each product.
[top]
Multi-warehouse
You can configure as many warehouses as you wish within Forturo which can either relate to distinct buildings or just be virtual warehouses within the same building.
[top]
Unlimited bins
You can set up any number of bins on the system to organize a warehouse of virtually any size.
[top]
Proforma invoicing
Customers can be sent Proforma invoices and it is optional if you force the system to require payment before goods are released for despatch.
[top]
Mark companies as Suppliers, Customers or both
In Forturo you only need set up a company once and then mark it as either a customer supplier or both thus ensuring consistency of company data throughout the system.
[top]
Automated re-ordering of stock
Users can maximum and minimum levels of stock on the each product. Using this information and knowledge of what is currently in the warehouse and already ordered, Forturo will suggest to the stock manager the levels of stock required to fulfill predefined stock requirements for your business. All defaults can be overridden but the system will make intelligent decisions based on the information available to it. For example it will use the last used supplier as the default supplier. Once the manager is happy with their choices the system will take the user through all the purchasing stages combining stock for the same supplier automatically on the same purchase order.
[top]
Fully customisable sales’ documentation
All documentation within Forturo (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes etc. can be configured for each customer’s specific requirements including graphics and logos.

If a customer calls in with a query or problem you can ascertain very quickly whether or not you supplied and if so, if it is still within its warranty period before assigning an engineer or consultant to the task.
[top]
Fully searchable stock Cardex enquiry
The stock system can be searched for the complete history of all movements on a product including write-offs, sales, purchases and movements
[top]
Customer and supplier returns processing
A complete returns process enables you to accurately control faulty and returned stock. Stock can be marked for resupply, refund or for credit. All credit notes are processed automatically by the invoicing module.
[top]
Built-in sales’ commission processing
Forturo automatically calculates sales’ commission to save staff having to spend valuable time keeping track of their own sales. Commission can be calculated on a deal-by-deal basis or on a threshold basis (i.e. specific percentages when a salesperson has reached certain pre-defined targets.) There is an automated report and a finalisation process to close off commission once it has been agreed.
[top]
Lot Processing
You can mark items in stock to be part of a specified lot or batch such that you can easily identify any other items from the same batch (for example if you needed to recall the whole batch)
[top]
Standard reports
There are a number ofd built-in reports in Forturo and we are constantly adding to these as users request new reports. Other reports include Most profitable product, Stock listing, Customer Assets and Customer and Supplier spending.
